How to Install python-vte software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

python-vte software package provides Python bindings for the VTE widget set, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install python-vte

python-vte is installed in your system.

Make ensure the python-vte package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep python-vte *

You will get with python-vte package name, version, architecture and description in a table
